Our Story

AlphaOne’s origins trace back to the convergence of seasoned leaders in logistics automation and engineering, each bringing unique expertise forged through years of hands-on innovation. Tim Criswell, a pioneer in automated truck loading and seasoned executive with a legacy of founding successful startups, joined forces with Matt Middleton, whose deep background in perception, AI/ML, and IoT has driven advancements in intelligent software systems. Alex Criswell contributed his specialized knowledge in mechatronics and hardware deployment, while Samarth Rajan added profound experience in vision-based robotics and optimization. United by a shared vision, our founders combined their complementary skills to form AlphaOne, building upon decades of breakthroughs in load/unload automation and setting the stage for ongoing innovation in logistics technology.

Since its inception, AlphaOne has been dedicated to developing its flagship solution, Sigma, a state-of-the-art system designed to revolutionize automated unloading in logistics operations. For our first 18 months, the company refined Sigma through continuous innovation and collaboration with leading technology providers, ensuring the product has the highest performance metrics in the market. Now, AlphaOne is launching Sigma alongside its complementary palletizing solution, offering customers an integrated automation suite that transforms receiving operations.
